Basingstoke Lions Club has used the Golf Club facilities for the past three years for its annual Charter Dinner and Dance. This is a formal "black tie" event and includes as our guests, both the Mayor & Mayoress of Basingstoke and The District Governor of the Lions International. The numbers attending would be approximately 70-80 persons. On each and every occasion, the meal has been superb and the presentation by the waitress staff excellent. The bar has been well stocked and is reasonable priced. Without reservation, I would recommend the Golf Club as an excellent venue for a function of this importance.

We recently hosted a fabulous dinner-dance with over 80 guests in attendance. Every one of them (without exception) is still raving about the wonderful evening, fantastic food, and asking us to "do it again next year"!

The staff were all most attentive and always one step ahead of our requests. The value for money was outstanding.  Thank you.

The Peter Houseman Youth League has used  Basingstoke Golf Club for their Annual Dinner on numerous occasions.
We have always found the choice, presentation and quality of food to be excellent and along with the friendly atmosphere it has been a perfect venue.
Easy access with a large car park, Basingstoke Golf Club is in an ideal position for our function.

On behalf of our club members I would like to say thank you for looking after us so well on our annual dinner last Saturday. The dining area was nicely laid out and your attention to detail made it a relaxing evening for me. The friendly and efficient service was appreciated by all. Please pass on my thanks to the chefs for the exceptional quality of the food. I have received countless calls from our members saying that it was the best dinner we have had in ten years since the club was formed.

On behalf of our athletics club, I wish to express my thanks to the golf club for their sterling efforts in making our Diamond Jubilee Gala Dinner such a success. Please covey our compliments to the chef for providing an excellent menu, especially in providing alternative options for those with special dietary needs. The only complaint is that the evening went too fast, otherwise one to remember for those who attended.

I am sorry that it has taken so long to write to say how successful and enjoyable our recent anniversary lunch was for everybody that attended. The food and wine were of the highest standard and provided superb value for money. The staff were attentive and provided a friendly, professional level of service throughout the afternoon. Now we have a reason for arranging another family gathering!!

A second successful dinner dance at Basingstoke. All our guests passed so many comments about the quality of the food in particular, but also the friendly efficient staff and general ambience. We will be back for more in 2010.
