Basingstoke Golf Club - Golf Day Booking Terms and Conditions

1. Booking Agreement
1.1 "The Club" refers to Basingstoke Golf Club.
1.2 "Organiser" refers to the individual or organisation booking the golf day.
1.3 "Event" refers to the golf day booking covered by this agreement.
1.4 By submitting this booking form, the Organiser agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Booking and Payment
2.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the Club.
2.2 A deposit of 10% is required within 7 days of provisional booking to secure the date.
2.3 Full payment is required 14 days prior to the event date.
2.4 If the group wish to pay in instalments prior to the day then an agreement can be made between “The Club” and the “Organiser” but must be paid in full in accordance with 2.3.
2.5 Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the booking.

3. Cancellation and Refunds
3.1 Cancellations more than 28 days before the event: Full refund minus 10% administration fee.
3.2 Cancellations 14-28 days before: 50% refund of total cost.
3.3 Cancellations less than 14 days before: No refund.
3.4 Weather-related cancellations by the Club will be handled at the Club's discretion, the Club will do everything possible to find an alternative date for the event before offering any refunds.
3.5 Weather-related cancellations by the Organiser of the Event, and the course is deemed safe and playable by the Club, will not attract a refund.

4. Event Conduct and Responsibilities
4.1 All participants must comply with the Club's dress code and rules of golf; these will be provided to the Event Organiser to distribute to the participants.
4.2 The Organiser is responsible for the conduct of all participants.
4.3 The Club reserves the right to remove disruptive participants without refund.
4.4 Participants play at their own risk; the Club accepts no liability for injury or loss.
4.5 Hire and use of golf buggies are subject to availability and the hirer must sign a disclaimer agreement before play.

5. Food and Beverage
5.1 Dietary requirements and food choices must be notified at least 7 days in advance.
5.2 Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
5.3 All alcoholic beverages must be purchased through the Club; anybody found with alcohol not brought from the premises will be asked to leave and the alcohol confiscated.

6. Photography and Data Protection
6.1 The Club may photograph events for marketing purposes unless otherwise requested.
6.2 Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Club's Privacy Policy.
6.3 The Club may contact the Organiser regarding future events and services.

7. General Terms
7.1 The Club reserves the right to modify facilities or services due to maintenance or private events.
7.2 These terms are governed by English law.
7.3 Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
